Location of the Hoedown

Harvest Hoedown will take place east of Stewart Nicks School, located at 100 Assiniboia Street in Grand Coulee, at the Outdoor Rink & Park.

Designated Drinking Area

We’re excited to let residents know that, during the Harvest Hoedown, the Town of Grand Coulee’s designated outdoor public space will be available for responsible alcohol consumption.

Under Bylaw No. 04-2026 – Open Liquor in Parks Bylaw, the park area containing the rink, shack, gazebo, athletic field and walking path is designated for alcohol consumption during posted hours. The bylaw is in effect from September 18 at 12:01 a.m. through September 20 at 11:59 p.m.

Residents and visitors are welcome to bring their own alcoholic beverage to enjoy during the Harvest Hoedown within the posted designated area.

Please remember:

• You must be of legal drinking age to consume alcohol.
• Public intoxication is not permitted.
• Glass containers are not allowed.
• Please stay within the posted designated area and follow the posted hours and rules.
• Events involving alcohol must comply with applicable SLGA permit requirements.

The Town will have signage in place identifying the permitted areas, hours and rules of conduct.

Grab your lawn chair, come enjoy the Harvest Hoedown, and if you choose to have a drink, bring your own and enjoy responsibly!
