Public Notice - Discretionary Use Application
An application has been made to the Town for a development that is considered a “Discretionary Use” under the Town’s Zoning Bylaw.

The application that council will be considering is for the use of a Home Based Business on the property listed above. Under section 5.1 of the Town’s Zoning Bylaw 06-2012: Home Based Businesses may be located in a dwelling used as the owner’s residence. A home occupation shall clearly be secondary and ancillary to the use of a dwelling unit as a private residence. A home occupation shall not cause variation in the residential character and appearance of the dwelling or property; except for permitted signs. A home occupation shall not create any conflict with the residential area in terms of emission of noise, glare, dust, odour, radio interference, or disturbance between the hours of 10pm and 7am that would be disruptive to the surrounding residential uses. A home occupation shall not require the parking of more than two client vehicles at any time. Off street parking shall be provided on site for any resident vehicles. A home occupation shall not have any exterior display, outdoor storage of materials, or exterior variation from the residential character of the residence.
